Mike grew up surrounded by music, with Latin music legend Johnny Pacheco as his uncle, and his mother having performed in early groups with Rock and Roll pioneer Dion Dimucci. A collection of Jimi Hendrix records inspired Mike to pick up the guitar at the age of 14.
